What are you?

In my mind, it's as simple as 1 - 2 - 3.

IMAGE HERE?

A lie makes you a liar.

A theft makes you a thief.

A murder makes you a murderer.

Anyone who has ever wanted something that isn't theirs is envious. Becomes jealous.

And I could list several more of these, but people will try to argue their way out of being convicted. Like any person put on trial we all try to defend ourselves and our actions.

I will speak from personal experience: I've never killed anyone - physically - and even in my thoughts it never occurred to me that killing someone would make my life better or easier. It never has made life better for anyone. And it never will as far as I'm concerned.

Whoever said murder will make life better and/or easier didn't know about Cain and Abel.

They were brothers, so you would think they'd get along. Then again, lots of siblings don't get along. Which is a sad reality. :(

But Cain, who was the older brother, was angry that not following the rules as his brother Abel did put him in proverbial hot water. With God. That must have seriously done something to the ego he built up.

And then do you know what he did? He killed Abel. His own brother! The punishment he received was the right one. It was God's right to award him as He did.

So when you are punished - for anything - don't place all of the blame on God. He didn't make you do wrong. He gives each of us a choice - which may result in punishment. It's as simple as this:

A 14-year-old may know he shouldn't get in the car with a stranger, but if he disobeys and leaves his CHOOSES to go because he's been tempted, it was still his choice. His parents didn't make him disobey. In fact, the person in the car didn't make him disobey. He chose to do it all on his own.
